buying & styling: spring!
fresh looks for a new season
Right now, I’m craving breezy layers and outfits that feel intentional but still easy. An onslaught of new arrivals everywhere can be daunting, but a spring wardrobe doesn’t require a complete overhaul- shorts, silk skirts, pendant necklaces or a cool pair of shoes will certainly help mix up your existing pieces.
Per last week’s letter, a fresh white tee can go a long way!
These are the pieces I’ve found that bridge the gap between chilly mornings and warm afternoons that allow me to play with my current rotation of closet favorites. Hopefully this serves as inspiration as you style your spring looks.
Look 1: ft. Doen skirt & Dries sneakers- The thought behind this skirt purchase is that it helps me dress up tees in the spring/summer and will layer nicely with knits this fall. The sneakers are an early birthday gift to myself- I don’t own anything like them and the colorway is just so fun. (btw, my friend Hey Mrs. Solomon on Style shared that I’m her cool sneaker inspo so I’m also trying to live up to that)

Look 2: ft. Bode Shorts and Ancient Greek flip-flops- These shorts lean a bit preppy (especially paired with the matching tee), but I love them with a basic crewneck and cool accessories.
Look 3: ft. Undercover asymmetric tee - My t-shirt collection has grown a bit sparse after a few rounds of recent closet clean outs and I’ve been on the hunt for a grown up graphic tee. Enter this one! So easy to throw on with capris, cool flats and a big bag.
Look 4: ft. Julietta necklace & Z Supply pants- I’m really a sucker for all Julietta jewelry, and this pendant was no exception. The pants have a short inseam, that was honestly the biggest draw besides the fact that they are easy to clean. I love an all white look with an overload of fun accessories.

Still Here’s Spring drop is here and to no one’s surprise my favorite pieces are nylon- the practice zip and kelly skirt (true to size, btw).
Dorsey introduced rings in lab diamond and moissanite yesterday. Five eternity bands that will add the perfect amount of sparkle to pared down spring looks. I have my eye on this one.
I’m overwhelmed by the popularity of this tee from last week’s letter! Going to share how I’m wearing mine next week.
Rarely do I get excited about adding kid-related things to my bag (respectfully), but Nemah (Mary Lawless Lee’s skincare line, maker of the infamous c-section scar cream) made a skin soothing spray that works for all ages and only has three ingredients. We are a sensitive skin family so I look forward to having this on hand for diaper rashes and irritated skin.
A little underwhelming to buy but a new undergarment can vastly improve how your clothes fit. I’ve had to do a recent overhaul of my bra drawer- new additions include this one, this one (wire-free, code LIZ15), and this for everyday.
xx, Liz
