summer beauty faves
my top tried and true products

I’m writing to you from a family trip where I’ve been so exhausted at the end of the day that I’ve fallen asleep at my keyboard the past two nights. Our schedule has been all over the place this summer and my skincare routine might be the only thing I’ve been consistent with lately. It helps me feel a little more together and if you know me, you know I take my product recs very seriously! Here’s everything that passed the test:
the highlights:
travel set: I love this brand! I’ve actually gotten my entire family into it. A mini deodorant, body wash and lotion that are carry-on friendly if you need them to be.
bag: something personalized. I love these Liberty London pouches- I have one for myself and one for each of my kids. very easy to wipe clean. These if you want something flat that takes up less space in a carry-on.
MAKE brow gel: holds brows in place with one swipe!
SPF that layers well: Simply the best! And I like having my own fancy sunscreen separate from the roll-ons/sprays I use for my kids.
new to me products I’m loving: Mimetique cleansing balm and moisturizer & NAD+ treatment lotion from Aramore.
the skincare lineup:
YSE Morning Cocktail vitamin C (first thing in the AM, daily), Ursa Major mountain glow serum, INNBeauty moisturizer, U-Beauty hydrating serum, NAD+ serum, True Botanicals radiance oil and active serum, 111skin repair serum (PM), 111SKIN Cyro Revitalizing moisturizer (day after flying, eating lots of salt, having a mezcal margarita, etc.), Tata Harper clarifying cleanser & calming creme for skin flareups/congestion
(I don’t use all of these serums at once! usually the vitamin C and hydrating ones in the morning and the repair/actives at night)
the makeup routine:
Victoria Beckham concealer, Fara Homidi lip liner, Mario lipstick, Make brow gel, Make foundation (usually for events, just using spf/moisturizer and concealer this time of year!), rhode bronzer and pocket blush, Hourglass brow pencil
RIXO x Dragon Diffusion collab! I know I said in Hey Mrs. Solomon on Style’s letter this week that collabs are super hit or miss, but I think this one is great. The bags are stunning. I’ve had my dragon diffusion bags for years and the quality is fantastic. Personally, I’m eyeing this one.
MYTheresa sale is live, these Herbert Levine slides are tempting.
A fun summer shift dress that would actually look cool with a leather jacket (see last week’s letter for more two truths dressing)
Took a week off from my weekly edit letter, but you can shop the edit here.
Bought these sandals from last week’s edit and can’t stop wearing them. The sporty laces and metallic beads are so cool together.
New golden-hour inspired Aperitivo collection from Crown Affair- just when I think they can’t get any cooler. Love these colors.
xx, Liz
